Residential and Community Services Advocate - New Directions Center, Inc

I am originally from WV, and live in Staunton with my husband, Brad Furr. I have a Bachelor's degree in English from Concord College, in Athens, WV, and a Master of Arts in Counseling degree from Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg. Previously, I have worked at the Valley Mission, the Waynesboro Redevelopment and Housing Authority, and Offender Aid and Restoration in Charlottesville. From 2015-2021 I was Director of Client Services at Project Horizon, in Lexington. I recently began working New Directions Center in Staunton as a domestic violence and sexual assault counselor. I'm active in community theater and have performed in several shows locally since 2013. I'm thrilled to serve on this Board and give something back to my community.
