Videographer -- Virginia Military Institute

Lexie West is a videographer at the Virginia Military Institute, where she creates video content focused on storytelling, recruitment, and community engagement. A U.S. Air Force veteran originally from Southern California, Lexie is passionate about using documentary-style storytelling to connect people and highlight authentic, often overlooked experiences. As an active member of the veteran community through VFW Post 7814 in Staunton, she values creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and connected. Lexie is excited to support the Shenandoah LGBTQ Center’s mission to build community and expand resources for LGBTQ individuals across the Shenandoah Valley. She lives in Staunton with her wife Christa, their dog Tony, and cat Silas.
